Rita Skeeter can be defined in one word. Prude. She is extremely proper and cannot stand anything of a sexual nature. She often calls herself asexual, for if she had the choice, she would reproduce by binary fission. She tries to keep everything PG, absolutely hating it when she encounters lovey-dovey couples in the corridors. If she could do one thing for the world, it would be banning PDAs.

Rita is a quiet, fair girl. She doesn't like drama, preferring everything to be perfect in her little bubble. She likes to keep everything equal and fair, trying not to be favourable towards anyone. Rita absolutely HATES liars, something her Father, instilled in her from a very young age.

She was born to muggleborn parents Eloise and Micheal, in a small village in Berkshire. Her mother stayed at home, while her Father worked as a judge in the Berkshire County Courts. They live on a reasonable salary, Ritas mother making their clothes. She's rather good at that, actually. She holds a sewing club with the other women in their village once a week. They're all under the impression that Rita was accepted for a scholarship to go to St. Maries Catholic School for Girls, in Scotland.

Rita has alpine blonde, curly hair. Since third year, she has charmed it straight because she couldn't be bothered with the high maintenence of curls. Although, sometimes, she lets her curls loose on the world. If she's feeling risky, she charms her hair to be a dark blonde, but this is only on rare occasions.

So what changed with Skeets?
Kay, so I did nothing to Ritas physical appearance (Okay, just a little bit), gender or house. I just fucked around with her history and personality.
Rita is muggleborn, middle-class at that. Which means she isn't spoilt and rich, and most certainly not throwing cash around. Her Mum makes her clothes bar school uniform, so she's humble. Not about to go and flaunt herself at any rate. Her Mum and Dad are nice people (who won't punch Delame) and they actually try to raise her right. Her Dad is now a judge instead of a Ministry worker and her Mum used to be a seamstress. They also didn't die, so there's no emo Rita.
She's not skanky either. Rita had one of those uptight, traditional upbringings. She still believes in true love, and wouldn't go kissing people. She's proper, calls her parents Mother and Father. Her Mum was the one who taught her to hate PDAs. They'd walk around town when Rita was younger, and her mother would point at teenagers snogging and say "That's wrong". Rita is obedient, and wouldn't want to go against her parents wishes.
And she's not into drama, liars, gossip and all that jazz. Which leaves her future career choices at Author, Housewife and Secretary.
She's also freaking excellent with a needle and thread.
